1. What you are buying
Written in the Stars sells entertainment astrology readings: a written reading and, on some of our pages, an illustrated portrait to go with it. The page you buy from says exactly what is included, and these terms cover whichever you bought. Below, “your reading” means everything that page promised. It is all generated from the birth details and questionnaire answers you provide, and produced for entertainment. It is not advice of any kind, it does not predict real events, and no real person is identified by it.
2. Price and billing
You pay $1 today. This gives you your reading and starts a 7-day trial of Written in the Stars Membership.
When the 7 days end, your membership renews automatically at $29 per month and continues each month until you cancel. We email you a reminder 2 days before the first monthly charge.
These are the only amounts we charge. We do not add fees, and we do not change your price without telling you first and giving you the chance to cancel.
3. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from your account page, in one click, with no retention questionnaire and no phone call. Cancelling stops all future charges. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. You can also cancel by emailing info@getwritteninthestars.com and we will action it.
4. Cancelling and refunds
Cancelling is one click and stops all future charges. We do not offer a blanket money-back guarantee on the $1 you pay today. If a charge was unexpected or something has gone wrong, email info@getwritteninthestars.com and we will put it right. See our refund policy.
5. Delivery
Your reading is sent to the email address you give at checkout. Your chart is calculated from real astronomical data for your birth date, and where you give one, your birth time and place. The reading, and the portrait where your page includes one, are then generated from that chart and from your answers. Nothing physical is shipped.
6. Your photo
Some pages offer to add a photo. It is always optional, and pages without a portrait do not ask for one. Where there is a portrait it is drawn entirely from your birth chart and your answers, and a photo does not change it. If you do add one it stays on your own device and is shown back only to you. It is never uploaded to us, never stored, never used to identify you, never used to train anything, and never shared.
7. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to buy.
8. Your content and ours
The reading, and any portrait, we produce for you are yours to keep and use personally. The site, its questions and its wording remain ours.
9. Limits
The product is provided as-is for entertainment. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us.
