What we collect
Your questionnaire answers, your birth date and, if you give them, your birth time and birth city. Your email address. If you buy, a payment reference from our processor. We never see or store your card number.
Your photo
If you choose to add a photo it never leaves your device. It is held in your browser for the length of your visit, shown back to you, and gone when you close the tab. It is never sent to us, so there is nothing for us to store, share, or train on, and it plays no part in producing your reading or portrait. If you skip it, or the page you use has no photo step, no image is taken at all. This is the whole of our photo handling.
What we do with it
We use your birth details to compute your chart, and your answers to write your reading. We use your email to send you the product and, if you subscribe, billing notices including the reminder before your first monthly charge.
Who else sees it
Our payment processor handles payment. Our email provider delivers your reading. The models that generate your reading, and any portrait, process the inputs described above. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Your order and reading are kept while your account is active and for as long as tax and dispute rules require afterwards. Photos are never kept at all.
Your rights
Email info@getwritteninthestars.com to get a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted. We will action it within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
